Blaine Smith / Associate

Born and Raised in Raleigh, Blaine brings a diverse skill set and background to ELM. Blaine spent 12 years in medical device sales before turning his career to commercial construction and commercial brokerage. Blaine is an entrepreneur at heart who has helped start multiple businesses including The Alley and an apparel company called Tradition Scarves. His philanthropic efforts include chairing a Band Together event that raised over $500,000.00 for Alliance Medical Ministry as well as multiple years leading teams for the YMCA's We Build People campaign. Blaine has lived in downtown Raleigh for most of his life and is passionate about connecting the small businesses and people that make Raleigh so special. He currently lives with his wife, Jordan, their two daughters Edie and Nora, and their dog Otis.
